It’s the 30th of November 2013, the time is now 12:14PM and I am just sitting on my bed drinking my coffee, I woke up at around 11AM today, last night, I had another sleepless night, but I got a bit sleep though. Anyway, we got back from our trip I would say a week ago and boy, that trip was an adventure, where can I begin? We had a super typhoon and that was pretty scary to be in, I am still shocked about all of it. It’s sad to see, over 5,000 people died in this natural disaster, losing their homes too. As I was there, people would be going crazy to find food because all the shops were being emptied by the locals, the locals would walk miles to get food. This terrible tragedy will take a couple of years to rebuild again. I couldn’t walk anywhere because my feet was blistering again so I had to stay upstairs in the house, but I’m not complaining I’m lucky to be alive. Our house at the moment is a refugee camp, all my families homes has been taken by the typhoon and they have to stay at our house until they rebuild their house again. In terms of living, they are back at 0, it’s so sad. But I know filipinos are strong and they will rebuild again stronger then ever :D! As we reached to the airport, the airport was in ruins by the typhoon, there were people from left right and centre trying to get a flight to Cebu and Manila, it was just so hectic to get a flight there, luckily though, we saw a US solider who put us on one of their planes to Manila, such a relief and that soldiers name was Clark just like Clark Kent from Superman, he he. As we landed in Manila, the filipinos were so helpful, they arranged accommodation for us. During my stay in Manila, I went to the hospital 5 times because I had trauma from it and I am getting better now. Though, this sad experience will live with me for life, but life goes on and I have to keep moving forward. Right now, I have to focus on getting a job, so I best be leaving it here, I hope you enjoyed reading this entry of mine.
